Radio play with Four Weddings and a Funeral deaf actor

A Small Piece of Silence is a contemporary radio play which was written especially for deaf actor David Bower who appeared as Hugh Grant’s deaf brother in Four Weddings and a Funeral.

A love story and detective drama, it attempts to deliver a picture of the world of someone who can’t hear, and highlight the way society reacts to deafness.

Best of all, the show is apparently accessible to deaf people. Tune into BBC Radio at 2.15 TODAY (9th of April) to catch the afternoon play.
