Wimbledon wheelchair doubles

Have you been caught up in this years Wimbledon hype? If so, I do hope you watched the wheelchair doubles matches, both women’s and men’s.

For the men, Robin Ammerlaan, also an advisor for Emcart Sport, and Stefan Olsson beat Stephane Houdet and Shingo Kunieda 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).

For the women, Esther Vergeer, an ex wheelchair basketball player, and Sharon Walraven, who is working to qualify for the 2012 Olympics, won over Daniela Di Toro and Lucy Shuker 6-2, 6-3.
