Toddler with disabilities walks at his parents’ wedding

Josef Sudron was born with polymicrogyria, a brain condition which left doctors questioning whether he would ever walk. But at 23-months-old Josef has triumphed against adversity by walking his parents down the aisle in a specially adapted walking frame – jazzed up with Dalmatian print no less!

His mum Louise said; he loves his walking frame. The doctors told me there was a possibility he would never walk. I never thought I would see it. It was a miracle in my eyes seeing him do it. I hadn’t cried all day but as soon as I saw him walking, that was it, I was off.”

Energetic and happy, Josef is also deaf and currently uses sign language, but is due to have a cochlear operation later this year which it’s hoped will give him the ability to hear.
