Teddy bears with disabilities

Teaching children about difference and the inclusion of others is such an important aspect of fighting disabalism. So I was thrilled to see this child’s teddy bear in a wheelchair from Rackety’s.

Plus, after a little more Googling, I also came across this wheelchair from Build-a-Bear Workshop. Brilliant!

I think this is brilliant, and teddies and dolls should be more widely avaliable with disabilities to encourace children to learn and understand.

Very nice! children is fond of portraying a role of a medical care provider as nurse/doctors and through this Teddy bears with disabilities they can have an interactive play between medical care provider and patient.
